What is a Carbon Credit?

Think of a carbon credit as a certificate that represents the reduction of one metric ton (1,000 kg) of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions from the atmosphere. When you undertake an eco-friendly action, like planting a tree, you help remove CO₂.

How HaritKosh Uses Them

1. Log & Verify

You log your eco-actions on our platform. We verify them to ensure they are real and impactful.

2. Aggregate & Certify

We bundle many small actions into a larger, measurable impact, which is then certified as carbon credits.

3. Create Value

These credits can be used by organizations to offset emissions, creating a link between your actions and corporate responsibility.
